From the first question to delivery logistics, MHL can actually take the time to speak to you, one-on-one, to a degree that showroom staff cannot. The same person who answers your first message is the same person who will be delivering and building your furniture. No miscommunications, no falling through the cracks, and no waiting for an answer from "a manager".
Hyper-local to Washington State
We don't ship. We don't work out-of-state. We don't even buy from out-of-state suppliers. Everything is based in Washington, from sourcing to delivery. This is where we are from and it's the region we service.
No middlemen, retail store, or staff
We bridge the gap between suppliers and the customer which manifests as significant time and cost savings for you. Unlike a normal store, our overhead is extremely low by design. In addition to time and cost savings, this means that you get consistently excellent service from the same team every time.
The same source as the big brands
One of the most novel aspects of MHL is the ability to source the EXACT same pieces that large retailers market under their brands, but for a fraction of the cost. These aren't dupes; they are from the EXACT same factory. Only the name on the box and the label are different.
The Buying Process
Even buying from MHL is different. In a good way.

Shop
Find the piece you want on the website or ask for the expanded catalog. Optionally, make an account and add items to your wishlist.
Ask questions or get design advice over text, phone, chat, or email.
Let us know when you are ready to purchase.
Once you are ready, item availability is confirmed and your total is calculated.

Logistics + Deposit
You only pay 10% now. MHL invoices you and, once the 10% invoice is paid, your order is placed.
Delivery date, location, and other logistics are confirmed.
You are kept up to date with expected delivery times (usually 1-2 weeks).
The day the order is received, it's on the way to you for same-day delivery.
Delivery
MHL arrives at the established time, unloads your pieces, sets them up, and removes packaging.
All pieces are inspected for damage and missing parts. If there are any issues, they are addressed immediately.
Only when everything is done is the rest of the payment collected.
Repeat this process until your home is full of beautiful furniture!

Are these items dupes or copies of the name brand versions?
No. The name brand versions and our versions come from the same factory. The only difference is the box and the badging on the item. The big brands do have some exclusive items. However, not all of their items are exclusive. A wide range of them are made by an independent factory. This factory sells to the high-end brands and to distributors alike with different "made for" stickers attached to the item depending on which reseller buys it. Each reseller then brands the item with their own name. Even the photos shown on the big brand websites are from the factory and any reseller is free to use them.
Why are you able to sell these high-end pieces for so cheap?
Our overhead is low by design. This means we can pass savings onto our customers. This also gives us a unique advantage in terms of furnishing entire homes. Suddenly, furnishing an entire home becomes much more realistic.
Can I come and see any of these pieces?
There are very few pieces which we have unboxed and available for viewing. This is the downside of not having a massive showroom. The upside to not having a massive showroom, of course, is that the prices are kept very low. Depending on the piece, there are certain retail locations which may have the piece available for viewing.
What does one-on-one service mean?
Compared to a normal retail experience, one-on-one service means having a direct discussion with MHL, over email, phone, or text, day or night. Discussions about what to order, the logistics of delivery, and finding pieces which match your needs are all levels of service that we can afford to engage in, unlike normal retail staff.
Can I get interior design help?
Yes you can. General advice for the first hour or so is free. In-home visits and longer, specific interior design work can be purchased as a service. In most cases, the fee for this service can be deducted from your order.
What are the delivery time windows?
Delivery availability is typically affected by the current day's delivery schedule. For items currently in stock, same day delivery is generally available. Late night deliveries as late as midnight are also available. Generally, if the delivery location is within 20 miles of Kirkland, the delivery is free.
